Early Life
Frederik Pleitgen was born in Bonn, Germany in 1972. He grew up in a family of journalists, with his father being a well-known German television presenter. From an early age, Pleitgen was exposed to the world of journalism and media, and he developed a passion for it.
He attended the University of Bonn, where he studied political science and journalism. After graduating, he began his career as a journalist, working for various German newspapers and television stations.
Career
