Avan Tudor Jogia was born on February 9, 1992 in Killarney, Vancouver, Canada. He was born to Mike and Wendy Jogia. He has a sibling called Ketan Jogia who is a music producer in London. Growing up, Avan went to Killarney Secondary School before moving to King George Secondary School in Vancouver. At age 17, in his tenth grade, he settled on the choice to pursue acting full time by making a trip to the United States. Before he left, his folks provided him with a final offer expressing that on the off chance that he doesn't arrive a role in Hollywood following a half year, he would have to come back to Vancouver and proceed with his instruction. His first TV film was for the film A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story, released in 2006. Avan depicted the role of Danny Araujo, the youthful sibling of the main character, Gwen Araujo. Avan steadily moved to fame with his repetitive appearance as Sam in the CW show Aliens in America in 2007. Likewise, in that equivalent year, he appeared in the Canadian blood and gore movie Devil's Diary.

In 2008, he played Champ Sinclair in the Nickelodeon motion picture Gym Teacher: The Movie along with Christopher Meloni. In 2009, he played Tajid Kalyan in another Nickelodeon film Spectacular!, appearing opposite Victoria Justice.

Avan Jogia got a turn at universal popularity when he handled a role on the Nickelodeon TV program Victorious. He was thrown nearby now celebrated big names including Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillies among others. He played the prevalent, attractive Beck Oliver who dated Jade West who was depicted by Elizabeth Gillies. The show went on for four seasons and was dropped in 2013

In July 2019, the trailer for the sequel to popular zombie comedy, Zombieland was released to movie audiences. Avan will play a character named Berkely in the film.
